Being a computer Engineer and working in corporates after my graduation, work stress and travelling was taking a toll on my skin. That was the time I realised the need for good quality and pure products to nourish my own skin and hair. Back in 2008 we did not have as many natural brands offering quality products so I always had a desire to work on introducing something unique. I also experienced that many times on the shelf products were not chemical free. At times when I was using a product with many ingredients, I realised that there were 1 or 2 ingredients in it which were not contributing to getting the desired results. This led me to creating my own DIY solutions to nourish my skin. Friends and family were able to observe my skin and hair change and started asking me what made my skin look clearer and nourished. This gave me a lot of confidence and I started believing in my methods of skin care. I also realised that same ingredient from different sources can offer different quality and correspondingly different results. When it comes to skincare quality of ingredient is very essential. After my graduation I continued to work in corporates and then even joined the family business for a few years. Being an entrepreneur gave me the courage to pursue my passion to spread beauty and wellness. My father Mr. Madhusudan M Lalwani was the first person to support my idea of creating Mirabela. After all the research, with all the knowledge and experience I had gained we finally introduced our first 3 products in April 2018 and named it Mirabela. When I look back, through the journey my mother Mrs. Veena M Lalwani has been my inspiration, support and guiding force. My first lessons of skincare and DIY recipes came from her. She taught me to be conscious and observe how my skin reacted and correspondingly guided me to work on it. It was she who instilled in me the habit of skin-care. She always believed in the concept of “Beauty with Brains” and taught us the importance of nurturing and developing both. For everything that we achieved, my family and our team have been a constant support.
